NPF-57 for the Hope Creek Generating Station (Docket No. 50-354)
Gentlemen:
We understand that in connection with recent NRC approvals ofindirect transfers of control of a license to a new holding cotupany, the NRC has sought and obtained from the licensee a commitment to provide the NRC with a copy of any application transferring 10 percent or more of the licensee's net utility plant to the parent holding company or any affiliated companies. In connection with the NRC's review of the above application filed by Atlantic City Electric Company t/a Atlantic Electric (" ACE") dated April 30,1997, please be advised that ACE agrees to provide the Director of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation a copy of any application, at the time it is filed, to transfer (excluding grants of security interests or liens) from ACE to its proposed parent, or to any other affiliated company, facilities for the production, transmission or distribution of electric energy having a depreciated book value exceeding ten percent (10%) of ACE's consolidated net utility plant, as recorded on ACE's books of account.
