Dear Senator Hutchison:
In a letter dated November 24,1998, from Mary Fae Kamm of your staff, you requested that we review Mr. Robert W. Butler's letter to you, regarding his " Eternal Storage Vault" design. Our Office of Congressional Affairs has coordinated with your office. As a result, we have replied directly to Mr. Butler and have sent him information regarding the Nuclear Regulatory Commission application and review process for spent fuel transportation and storage designs.
