Dear Mr. Michaels:
Manhattan College wishes to terminate its license to operate a non-power reactor (License -
No R 94) in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.82, in support of this request, the College has prepared a decommissioning plan which is submitted herewith for NRC approval.
The plan has been reviewed and approved by the college Radiation Safety Committee.
The reactor fuel and startup source will te returned to DOE custody at the earliest opportunity. No other portions of the Decommissioning Plan will be executed prior to receipt of NRC approval.
