Washington, D.C. 20555-0001

Dear Commissioners:

J As you meet to consider the disputed issue of the Claibome Enrichment Center and its placement in a remote area of North-Central Louisiana, I wish simply to express my co.cems abcut this troublesome process.

For some time now, the residents of this smal.' community in Louisiana have vociferously opposed the lccation of this uranium enrichment plam in their neighborhood, a legitimate position which they have every right to take. Although I will not comment on the animus behind the placement of the plant in this area,I support the efforts of these indisiduals who:e poverty and remoteness may have hindered their being heard in toe initial stages of this process.

I therefore urge all appropriate consideration of their concems, as well as those of Louisiana Energy Services, thrt.aghout the duration of this review.

Sincerely, M

L.
