ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO.12 TO FACILITY LICENSE NO. R KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY (TAC NO. MA3984)
Dear Mr. Ryan:
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.12 to Facility License No. R-88 for the Kansas State University Research Reactor. The amendment consists of a change to the Technical Specifications (TSs) in response to your submittal of September 25,1998.
The amendment designates the Department Head of the Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering Department as Chairman of the Reactor Safeguards Committee in TS H.2.
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation supporting Amendment No.12 is also enclosed.
