Dear Governor Cuomo:
On May 27, 1986, the Commission received a letter from you, dated May 15, 1986, requesting termination of the licensing proceeding concerning Shoreham Nuclear Pcwer Plant.
The State of New York is a party to that proceeding.
Since the.
letter does not indicate that copies of it were served on the other parties to the proceeding, and since it is in effect a motion seeking a particular outcome of the proceeding, the NRC, in accordance with its regulations governing ex parte communications, has served copies on the other partTes.
The Commission will have no substantive response to the motion until the other parties to the pr ggdhgg ave had an opportunity to file answers to it.
