Dear Mr. Grant:
Pursuant to your request, we are providing you a copy of our Commonv,calth Edison Company (Coiubd) Corporate Security Investigation Report concerning the information received by the NRC. The investigation was conducted independently by Comed Corporate Security, and that organization also developed conclusions concerning the allegations as detailed in the report 'It is our belief that the investigation was of sumcient scope and depth to address the issues.- The Exhibits referenced in the report are not included but are available for your review. In summay, and as detailed in the report, the allegations in that matter were not substantiated in the investigation. Ilowever, an b
administrative violation of welding procedures was self-identified that did not involve the actions of Mr. Loope. Additionally, Mr. Loope has been counseled regarding more appropriate wording when giving direction to workers under his control.
This attachment contains sensitive and con 0dential personnel information that should not be publicly disclosed. Such disclosure could cause an unwarranted invasion of the i-personM privacy for those named in this attachment Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790, I request the attachment to be withheld from public disclosure in any form,
