SINGLE LOOP OPERATION HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) is submitting proposed changes to the Hope Creek Technical Specifications (Attachment I) in support of operation with one recirculation loop out of service, i.e. Single Loop Operation (SLO).
The results of a Hope Creek-specific analysis performed by General Electric and documented in a report entitled
" Hope Creek Single Loop Operation Analysis" dated February 1986 (Attachment II) justifies the proposed Technical Specification changes and SLO.
This report will be included as Appendix l,
15C to the Hope Creek FSAR in a future amendment.
In addition, PSE&G notes that the proposed Technical Specification changes do not involve any significant hazard considerations as demonstrated in Attachment III nor constitute an unreviewed safety question.
