The BASES discussions, under Applicable Safety Analyses, for technical specifications 3.6.1 l
(Containment) and 3.6.3 (Containment isolation Valves) do not refer to the Rod Ejection Accident as a design basis accident which can create a pressure / temperature challenge for
. the containment or the containment isolation valves. This is different from the standardized
- technical specifications and the reason for its omission lo unclear. Westinghouse should explain why this is not applicable to AP600 or include it in the technical specifications.
