! The exercise will be held on June 4 beginning at 6:10 A.M. and ending about 12 l

1 hours later. Our inspection number is 50-247/86-13.

i We will stay at the Thayer Hotel, West Point, New York. Reservations have  !

,

been made for Monday through Thursday morning. The hotel cannot accommodate

j anyone after noon Thursday. Please call 914-446-4731 to guarantee your

i reservation no later than Friday, May 23, 1986. (Those staying beyond

i Thursday are to make their own arrangements). The rate is $49 per day; there

! is no State tax. Three R/As have been reserved for Region I team members.

Travel request forms have been completed for team members.

]

! Familiarize yourself with IE Inspection Procedure 82301; Indian Point-2

! Emergency Plans and Inspection Procedures which relate to your assignment; the .

l openitemsandobjectives(listofeachattached);andthescenario.

There may be intense public awareness. NRC and FEMA will hold a public

i meeting beginning at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 6 in Building 1 of the

Westchester County Airport to discuss the exercise.

] Attached are the team assignments and schedule, exercise event and time line,

) open items, objective lists, and a synopsis of the New York State /four county

! RERP. Additional material may be forwarded at a later date, if needed, and ,

j may be hand written. -
