SUBJECT:
RESOLUTION OF TVA ISSUES Your memorandum of January 24, 1986 requested the staff's position on what TVA must do to ensure an objective identification, evaluation and resolution of issues identified in the Employees Concern Program. You asked to receive by c.o.b. Tuesday, January 28, 1986, either that position or an indication that the staff has no position.
To date, the staff has focused its review on the programmatic review of the TVA Employee Concerns Program. While the staff has not finalized its position, we have conducted three major inspections of the current TVA program with the last one ending Friday, January 24, 1986.
In general, the staff believes that the current program, if properly implemented, should provide reasonable assurance of objective identification, evaluation, and resolution of issues. -
However, there ere a number of specific issues that are being pursued concern-ing programatic changes and implementation changes. The staff will be prepared to discuss this matter in morgdetgilgtgnext Comission briefing.
