Dear Mr. Femreite:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a routine inspection of your facility's l_ material control and accounting (MCAA) safeguards program on August 4-8,1997. The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, intervies rs with personnel, and observations of activities in progress. The scope and results of the inspection are j summarized in the enclosure, which also includes details of the inspection.
At the conclusion of the inspection,the Gndings were discussed with members of your statT. Within the scope of the inspection, no violations were identined. Ilowever, two umesoived items (URis) were opened for further tracking and evaluation. One inspectoridentified deviati,n, two URis, and three inspector identined items (IFis) from prior inspections were closed.
Under the provisions of Section 2.790(d), reports containing information related to a licensee's MC&A program are exempt from public disclosure. Accordingly, the enclosure will nel be placed in the Public Document Room.
