This letter confirms the telephone conversation on December 16, 1998, between Mr.
Chester Berg, Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) ' and Ms. Leah Tremper, USNRC.
This conversation addressed two
-late payment : notices that WCNOC rece.ved for Invoices RL0160-99 and RS0109-99..It is our understanding that the electronic wire transfer of the monies involved to effect payment of these invoices reached the NRC office on December 4,
1998.
However, payment was not posted to our account until December 11, 1998, which caused the past due notices to be
. generated.
In addition, it is our understanding that WCNOC is to consider these invoices canceled.
