CHAIRMAN PALLADINO:
I will ask the Secretary to 3
lead us through the one item on the agenda.
4 MR. CHILK:
The item on the agenda is SECY BS-209A, 5
Final Regulations on No Significant Hazards Consideration.
6 The Commission is being asked to approve in this 7
paper final regulations implementing the Sholly Amendment 8
providing for requested operating license amendments involving 9
no significant hazards considerations before the conduct o f.
10 any hearing.
11 Chairman Palladino, Commissioners Roberts, Bernthal 12 and Zech have approved the final rule and agreed with 13 modifications suggested by the General Counsel on January 14 9th.
Commissioner Asselstine has disapproved the final rule 15 and has provided separate views.
16 Will you please affirm your votes.
