in reference 1 Siemens Power Corporation (SPC) respont'ed to Bulletin 97 02 that we intended to take'the actions requested within the time frames listed and in reference 2 SPC provided the report required in item (i) of the bulletin. Because of the conclaslon that there are no special precautions or additional operational controls required to assure the continued safe use of the containers for which SPC is the primary certificate holder, SPC is hereby informing the NRC that the actions requested in item (3) of the bulletin are not required.
