Item No. 5 - App 2.ication of Regul_atory Guide 1.75 to BGW Supplied Safety and Protection System Cabine_ts The B4W program intended to demonstrate compliance of their equipment to the provisions of Regulatory Guide 1.75 is presently in the planning stage and the testing schedules for isolation amplifiers and electro-magnetic interference have not been established. This information was supplied to us by telecopy of a memorandum from C. S. Banwarth to T. Cox, dated' Hay 14, 1976, regarding the BSAR-205 and WNP 1 and 4 applications.
Since the subject item pertains to BGW supplied equipment, we require that the applicant make a commitment to implement the resolution found acceptable as a result of our review of BGW's test program presently under review on the BSAR-205 docket. Furthermore, the applicant should also make a com:nitment that in case the BGW program is either not com-pleted within the time required for the WNP Units Number 1 and 4 OL review, or the BGN test results are found unacceptable by the staff, the applicant will provide a modified design to satisfy Regulatory Guide 1.75 requirements.
