TRIP REPORT - YISIT TO WFPSS 1 & 4 SITE Y(
A visit was made to the proposed WPPSS 1 & 4 site on July 15, 1974, in conjunction with the Pebble Springs site visit. Since this visit preceded the environmental site visit (with the approval of the EEM), no environmental questions had been prepared for discussion with the applicant.
The site review was conducted in the company of Sharon Engstrom of WPPSS and Dave Baker of'Battelle-Northwest (consultant to the applicant). During the tour of the site, the relationship of proposed WPPSS 1 & 4 to WPPSS #2 (under construction) was noted, as well as the location of the future affluent discharge line on the Colisabia River. Nearby residences and farms were visited on the opposite side of the river. It was noted through a conversation witt an employee of the fare containing the nearest cow that eight children (including a 4 day % 1d infant) consumed the milk from the cow. The visit was concluded at approximately 4:00pm.
