NRC INSPECTION
Dear Mr. Mick:
This refers to the inspection conducted on July 14,1997 at the V.A. Edward Hines Medical Center in Hines, Illinols, with continued in office review of your source exchange procedure through July 31,1997. The purpose of the inspection was to determine whether activities conducted in association with the NRC reciprocity provisions of 10 CFR 150.20 were conducted in accordance with NRC requirements. At the conclusion of the inspection,'he findings were discussed with you.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted concerning your activities in areas of exclusive federal jurisdiction and the requirements in 10 CFR 150.20, " Recognition of Agreement State Licenses." Within this area, the inspection consisted of a selective i
examination of representative records, observations of activities in progress, independent l
measurements, and interviews with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this inspection, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.700 of the NRC's " Rules of Practices," a copy of this leiter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
