APR 19 E74 Docket No. 50-460 NOTE TO: Files REPORT OF TELEPHONE CONVERSATION In a telephone conversation on April 18, 1974 with A. Hosler, WPPSS licensing engineer, the possibility of expanding the WPPSS WNP-1 project application from one to two units was discussed.
WPPSS has publicly announced their intent to pursue the construction and operation of what is now called WPPSS Project No. 4, to.be sited approxi-mately 1/2 mile from the new site location for WNP-1. Hosler expressed WPPSS' intent to make Project No. 4 a " twin" plant to the WNP-1; same vendor, AEC, and identical plant design. He said they were contemplating the possibility of expanding the current application to include the second unit, and would probably want to discuss this with the staff in the near future.
