This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. K. R. Naidu of this office on July 24-26, 1985 of your facility at West Columbia and to the discussions of our findings with you and L. H. Schmidt of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The purpose of this inspection was to verify the implementation of your QA program relativa to the problems associated with the operability of 480 volt and 5 KV circuit braakers installed at the Shearon Harris nuclear power plant, and followup on several 10 CFR Part 21 reports issued by licensees and BBC Brown Boveri Inc. Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the enclosed report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of an examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations.by the inspector.
The results of the inspection indicate that you have either taken or initiated appropriate corrective action on each of the identified problems.
