NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-454/98023(DRS); 50-455/98023(DRS)
Dear Mr. Kingsley:
On November 17,1998, the NRC completed a special inspection at your Byron Nuclear Power
Station Units 1 and 2. The purpose of the inspection was to verify the accuracy of licensee
response to Region Ill questions regarding grid stability.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified and questions generated during the
inspection were satisfactorily resolved before the end of the inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
