Dear Mr. Slayton:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that effective August 4,1997, the l
l non power reactor inspection program will be transferred from the Region II-Office to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR). All activities L
regarding non power reactors that were formerly the responsibility of Region 11 including-inspection and incident response are now the responsibility of NRR. All correspondence, reports, and inquiries regarding non power reactors should be directed to:

Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 Emergency situation notifications should continue to be communicated to the NRC Headquarters Operations Center at (301) 816 5100.
