NEGATIVE DECLARATION SUPPORTING: EXTENSION.0F CONSTRUCTION PERMIT NO. CPPR-93 EXPIRATION DATE FOR THE WASHINGTON PUBLIC_ POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM NUCLEAR PRCJECT NO. 2 DOCKET NO. 50-397 The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has reviewad Washington Public Power Supply System (pemittee) request to extend the expiration cate of the construction permit for the Washington Public Power Supply System Nuclear Project No. 2 (CPPR-93) which is located in Benton County in the State of Washington. The pemittee re<pested a thirty-nine month extension to the pemit through December 1.1981, to allow for completion of construction of the plant.

Analysis has prepared an environmental impact appraisal relative to this change to CPPR-93. Based on this appraisal, the Cosmiission has concluded that an environmental impact statement for this particular action is not warranted because there will be no environmental impact attributable to the proposed action other than that which has already been described in the Cosmission's Final Environmental Statement.
