I A. Schwencer, Chief, Light Water Reactors Branch 2-3 DRL ADDITIONAL LWA-2 FOR WNP 1 & 4 As described on my latest Request for Schedule Change dated 7/30/75, the impact of Appendix I evaluation on this project is a PDD delay from 10/24/75 to 12/24/75. This impact was based on a D. Muller memo dated 7/2/75, now superseded by an updated version of the.same memo, dated 7/21/75.
WPPSS work schedules show that they will need a CP by November 1975.
I would like management approval to suggest to WPPSS that they consider the necessity of applying for additional (LWA-2) authorization and make their own decision based on our new FL1 of 12/24/75.
Such action on my part would be infomal and verbal, preceding a letter which I will write to officially infom them, after the current schedule change is approved.
