Dear Mr. Michaels,
The one remaining commitment regwnne operation of the Gamma Cave facility at the University of Massachusetts Res, mQ ne,ctor has been completed. An In Cave monitor has been installed, tested, and innyorated into the cave safety interlock system.
The functional testing of this interku has been included in the procedure used to test all features of the Gamma Cave system when the semiannual radiation monitoring calibration is performed. Operational checks of the In-Cave monitor are being incorporated into SO-10, the routine operation of the Gamma Cave facility. This includes the actions committed for the Gamma Cave facility. Please complete your analysis and responte to the exemptions requested from 10CFR36. Thank you.
