e JUN 2 51991 Docket Nos. 50-445 50-446 License No, NPF-87 Construction Permit No. CPPR-127 TV Electric ATTN:
W. J. Cahill, Jr., Executive Vice President, Nuclear Skyway Tower 400 North Olive Street, L.B. 81 Dallas, Texas 75201
Dear Mr. Cahill:
I am writing to propose that an NRC Region IV/ Senior Utility Executive Conference be held on one day during the month of September 1991.
The purpose of this conference, similar to the one held on August 8, 1989, would be to provide an open forum for the candid discussion of topics of trutual interest and concern.
These topics and discussions would be limited to topics of general interest and not pertain to current plant specific issues.
The meeting would be held in Arlington, Texas, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a location to be determined, on one of the following days:
September 5, 12, 19, 24, or 26.
Please advise me of your availability and your proposed attendees during the proposed dates. Attendance at the conference is appropriate for two or three utility senior executives per f acility and participating NRC staf f.
Enclosed is a list of proposed topics for the conference and proposed NRC discuscion coleaders.
I would appreciate receiving your comments and suggestions for alternate topics, including your preference concerning the proposed topics, in order of your priority.
I believe that about five topics could be addressed at the conference with each topic sponsored by both NRC and utility discussion coleaders (f acilitators).
Please select one topic and provide the name of one of your attendees who might act as discussion coleader for that topic.
I would appreciate your response to this proposal by July 1, 1991.
I will confirm plans for the conference, including the exact location, date, agenda, attendees, and discussion coleaders, in mid-July.
Should you have any questions concerning this proposal, please call me or Mr. Samuel J. Collins nf my staff.
Sincerely, ORIGINAL SIGNED BY ROBERT D. MARTIN Robert D. Martin Regional Administrator
