Pursuant to 10 CFR $2.720(h)(2)(1) and $2.740(a),

Intervenors Rorem et al. hereby give notice that they shall take the deposition of the following witness, who is an NRC Staff member: J.W. Muffett. The deposition shall commence on December 3, 1985, at 10:00 A.M., and shall continue thereaf ter until completed, at the offices of Business and Professional People for the Public Interest, 109 North

Dearborn,

Chicago, Illinois; or at such time and place as the parties may agree. The deposition shall be taken before a certified court reporter, and shall be on the subject of the witness' knowledge of the quality assurance -

deficiencies at the Braidwood nuclear power station alleged in

.Intervenor's Amended Quality Assurance Contention and any correc-tive action taken with respect to such deficiencies.
