We appreciate the AIF Cost Impact Subcommittee's willingness to review and comment on the enclosed document.
t We are particularly interested in the Subcommittee's views concerning the following questions:
- 1. Is the approach described generally sound? If not, what are the major weaknesses?
- 2. Are there important errcrs or misleading statements? If so, corrections would be appreciated.
- 3. Are there opportunities for important, worthwhile improvements? Any specific suggestions would be appreciated both for (a) improvements that could be made quickly and easily in the initial issue, and (b) improvements requiring substantial effort, but deserving consideration for the future.
As discussed, we look forward to receiving the Subcommittee's comments by l November 12.
