AUTHORIZATION FOR COMMERCIAL DISTRIBUTION This refers to our Confirmation of Action letter of October 4,1995, and a conversation between John Potter of this office and Claude Huggins of your office on October 18, 1985, concerning the possible contamination of about 2,000 gallons of masking tape adhesive from a static eliminator containing 40 MCI of Po-210.
Based on letters from 3M Corporation dated October 11 and October 16, 1985, estimating and confirming no significant loss of Po-210 to the adhesive and confirming analyses by North Carolina officials and your consultant, we have no objection to this adhesive being incorporated into products for commercial distribution.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
