CERTIFICATE AMENDMENT REQUEST- PORTSMOUTH GASEOUS DIFFUSION PLANT COMMITMENT TO IDENTIFY STRUCTURES, SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS (SSCs) NECESSARY TO MEET NUCLEAR CRITICALITY SAFETY (NCS) DOUBLE CONTINGENCY PRINCIPLE (TAC NO. L32035)

Dear Mr. Miller.

In accordance with your applicatior dated June 16,1997, and pursuant to Part 76 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Certificate of Comp"ance GDP-2 is hereby amended by adding to TSR 3.11.1, an additional commitment to identify SSCs and support systems necessary to meet the NCS double contingency principle. Accordingly, Condition 9 has been revised to include the date of June 16,1997.

All other conditions of this certificate shall remain the same.

Enclosed is a copy of the revised Ceificate of Compliance.
