Complete The Instrumentation and Control Systems Branch (ICSB) has prepared the enclosed Safety Evaluation (Enclosure 1) addressing License Condition 22 " Control Sys-tems Failures" for WNP-2.
This license condition consists of the three subparts listed below. These items are discussed in detail in the SER sections noted in parentheses.
1.
IE Bulletin 79-27, Loss of Non-Class 1E Instrumentation and Control System Power Bus During Operation (SSER #4, Section 7.5.2.3) 2.
Qualification of Control Systems (SSER #4, Section 7.7.2.1, and 3.
Control Systems Failures (SSER #4, Section 7.7.2.2).
Based on information provided by the licensee in letters G02-83-574 dated June 24,1983 and G02-83-1040 dated November 10, 1983, and telecons on September 18, 1985 and September 24, 1985, the ICSB has determined that these items have been adequately addressed by the licensee, and that the requirements
