Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.59 (b) (2), Braidwood Station is submitting the 10 CFR 50.59 Summary Report. This report covers the period from June 19,1996, through June 18,1998, and consists of descriptions ar$ sefety evaluation summaries for changes to the Facility, procedural Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) changes, Tests and j
Experiments, and the Fire Protection Report.
j The report is being submitted to coincide with the UFSAR and Fire Protection Report updates j
consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59 (b) (2). Updates to the UFSAR and Fire Protection Report will be submitted in a separate transmittal. The UFSAR and Fire Protection Report updates are currently submitted every 24 months in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.71 (e) (4). In the referenced letter, the NRC concurred with Commonwealth Edison Cornpany's proposal to provide UFSAR updates to the NRC no later than 24 months from the submittal date of the previous revision.
