Dear Mr. 3mith:
Based on our telephone conversation on October 7. 1997, it is my understanding that your new contractor is scheduled to complete the decommissioning plan for the Lawrenceburg TN facility by December 17, 1997, it is also my v %rstanding that the decommissioning plan will be based on a c..aracter12ation study completed by your former contractor. Please provide a copy of the completed characterization study for our' review. This will facilitate our review of the plan and the remediation proposals once you have provided them.
