20555 Re:

In the Matter of Commonwealth Edison Company (Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2)

Docket Numbers 50-456 and 50-457 O b

Dear Administrative Judges:

Pursuant to the duty of full disclosure as articu-lated by the Appeal Board in Duke Power Company (William B.

McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2), ALAB-143, 6 AEC 623 (1973), I am informing the Board and the parties that on Thursday evening, May 8, 1986, a foreman employed by Comstock Construction Company, G.

Krone, was passing out copies of newspaper accounts of the Braidwood licensing hearings which referred to the inspections performed by QC inspector Richard Martin.

Mr. Martin complained to Mr. Krone's superintendent about this matter.

On Friday, the 9th, Mr. Krone encountered Mr. Martin in the quality control inspector office and made derogatory comments concerning both Mr. Martin's inspection practices which had been the subject of the newspaper articles and Mr. Martin's complaints to Mr. Krone's superintendent.

Mr.. Krone shoved Mr. Martin once.

Mr. Krone's employment was terminated by Comstock Construction within two hours, g"o316o4o4860513
