By letter dated September 28,1989 (Reference 1), Nebraska Public Power District (Disdct) provided conceptual system design information to supply nake-up nitrogen to the primary containment for post-accident combustible gas contro!. By letter dated July 13,1990 (Reference 2), the D: strict provided confirmation that this system, designated as Standby Nitrogen Injection (SBN1), installation was complete. Detai!cd informatioa in this correspondence stated that the control stations for the SBNI system were located outside the Reactor Building. This information was utilized in the preparation of the Safety Evaluation for the District's Response to Generic Letter 84-09, enclosure to letter dated November 19,1992 (Reference 3).
The information supplied in Reference 1 and 2 should have stated that the control stations for the SBNI system are located outside of Secondary Containment. The control station for SBNI Train A is located inside the. Reactor Bui ding in the vestibule of the former Reactor Building south airlocka The vestibule exterior walls and the interior door to the airlock are maintained and tested as Secondary Containment 'ooundaries. During abro.nal conditions, the Secondary Cont.inment boundary will be maintained at the int,erior door of the airlock. Therefore, the
