O JOIIN A. MACISA AC 30 DELLEVUE RTREET WEST HOXHURY. Ef ARS. 03133 May 28, 1988 Secretary of the Co=ission Attn Docking and Service Branch U.S. Nuclear Reguletory Co=ission k'ashingten, D. c. 20555 Deer Cor=issioners :
For the next fifty years we have to use the Nuclear Energy available to us now as a safe consumption.
New England is at the mercy of the South-west for fossil fuel and at the mercy of Canada for surplus electric power. Canada vill grow at our i
expense and soon will have no surplus electric power.
Southwestern United States will grow and will be able to sell us Electric Power cheaper than we can make it.
New England may become the Industrial Area of the past. I recommend that the N.R.C. will allow a lov i
pcwer license to the Seabrook Station. A full license to operate this plant should be granted econ.
Thank you for this consideration, our 7 y
