Extension of Time for Response to NRC December 19,1997 Letter (EAs 96 397; 97 375: 97 559)

Dear Mr. Sellman:

On December 19,1997, the NRC sent you a letter transmitting the synopseh of three reports of Investigations conducted by the NRC Office of Investigations. The letter, which also attached the apparent violations related to those Investigations, provided you the opportunity to either (1) respond to the apparent violations within 30 days, or (2) request, within seven days, an enforcement conference.

In your letter to the USNRC dated December 19,1997, you requested an extension of time until January 9,1998,to decide whether to request anenforcement conference. Further, you also requested an extension until February 13,1998, to provide a written response in the event you chose not to attend a conference.

Your requests are granted.
