Dear Mr. O'Hanlon:
'E0n' February 12. 1997, an inspectionLof the' Category 1 SWR Dam at the North-
. Anna' Power Station was conducted and'the inspection report was forwarded-to Virginia Electric and Power ".xnpany (VEPCO) on November 13. 1997. On-
= November 25, 1997. the NRC Project Manager was informed that certain findings in the report may be incorrect.
It was agreed that a meeting between VEPCO.
the NRC and Federal Energy Regulation Commission should be held to discuss the
-findings and applicable action dates. This meeting is tentatively scheduled for.early January 1998.
In view of this, the corrective action dates-
- cur.rently in the inspection report are held in abeyance.
We will advise you of the exact date of the meeting as soon as it is finalized.
