Union Electric believes that the information which we have supplied to the NRC adequately documents the basis for the qualification of the Bunker Ramo penetration assemblies in instrumentation circuits as they are used at Callaway.
However, because of questions raised by NRC, Union Electric has followed the guidance provided in Generic Letter 88-07, and an evaluation in support of our finding of operability has been performed.
Informal' copies of this evaluation have been provided to the Callaway Resident Inspector and the Licensing Project Manager.
