SERVED MAY 2 51988 SECOND MCIION FOR.JN EXTENSION OF TIME IN WHICif TO 'F3LE CONTENTIONS NOW COMES the Consionwe alth of Pennsylvania and requests an extension of time in whi:1 to file its contentions in this licensing proceeding. ]n support of this motion, the Commonwealth states as fo11sts:

1. On April 22, 1988, the commonwealth requested a first extension of time in wl.ich to file its contentions.

In support of this motion, ti.e Commonwealth noted its desire to engage in discussions wi tt. the Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO) prior to filir.g its contentions.

2. On April 25th, thi s Board granted an o 'l extension of time until May 25, 1988.
3. On May 3, 1988, this Board issued a written order confirming this extension.

4 The Commonwealth atd PECO are now engaged in discus-sions.

5. In order to know if they can resolve their differ-ences, the Commonwealth anc' 1 ECO believe they need more time than now provided by the May 25th deadline. They therefore G RANTED gR06080002 800525 For the Licensing Brrr!
