l By Order, dated June 2,1998, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) j approved the application submitted by Central Maine Power Company (CMP), a 2.5%
owner of the Millstone Nuclear Power Station Unit 3 (Millstone 3) and co-holder of Facility Operating License No. NPF-49 for Millstone 3, regarding the proposed reorganization of CMP pursuant to which CMP would form a new holding company and become a subsidiary of that holding company.
The purpose of this letter is to advise the NRC that this reorganization occurred on September 1,1998. CMP Group, Inc., a publicly traded corporation organized under the laws of the State of Maine and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, is now the l
