APR 18198ti Docket Nos. 50-254 and 50-265 Commonwealth Edison Company ATTN: Mr. Dennis L. Farrar Director of Nuclear Licensing P.O. Box 767 Chicago, IL 60690 Gentlemen:
By letter dated March 31, 1986, the Division of Licensing-(DL) staff informed your Company of their approval of your application dated February 17, 1983.
The application transmitted the Second Ten-year Inservice Inspection Plan and requested relief from certain ASME Code requirements for the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station Unit Nos.1 and 2.
Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 of the March 23, 1978 regulations were not remitted with your application.
Based on information provided by the DL staff as a result of their final review of the February 17 application, it has been determined that a Class III fee ($4,000) and a Class I fee ($400) are appropriate since the review involved consideration of a single safety issue and a duplicate unit. Therefore, your Company is requested to remit the sum of $4,400 to this office.
Sincerely, h.
