September 22, 1978 Gentlemen:

The reference letter requested amendment of materials license No. SNM-1265 to authorize storage of 10x10 La Crosse BWR fuel bundles at the Morris facility.

It was our determination that this amendment was an " administrative" amendment and a check for

$150 was enclosed for the required licensing fee.

We were notified by telephone on September 28, 1978 that the Commission's review of the requested amendment determined that the amendment class should be " minor-safety and environmental" for which the fee is $3500.

A check in the amount of $3350 is enclosed to cover the additional fee requirement.
