Dear Congressman Mrazek:
Your letter of September 25, 1986 requested information on the proposed revision of our radiation protection standards. Enclosed is a copy of the revision of 10 CFR Part 20 that was published for public coment in the Federal Register of January 9,1986.
Table 1 (pages 1095-1100) in this document provides a comparison of the proposed with the present 10 CFR Part 20. Your letter indicated that your constituent was particularly interested in the occupational protection requirements.
Pages 1095 and 1096 provide a summary of the salient changes regarding protection of workers in NRC-licensed facilities.
