Dear Mr. Palchak:
This letter is to provide you with individual examination results for your apolicants who took the initiallicense examination during the weeks of January 26,1998, and February 2,1998, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790, this information is considered " proprietary." The enclosed information supplements and is in addition to the examination report which will be issued shortly.
The following information is enclosed with this letter: : Completed ES-5012, Power Plant Licensing Examination Results Summary, which summarizes the examination results. : A copy of each individual's license or letter, a: applicable. : Operater License Examination Report, ES-3031, and ES-303 2, if applicable. These reports provide individual examination results for each applicant. : ES-4017, written examination are answer sheets for each applicant.
Enclosures 3 and 4 provide information identified by the examiners for each Individual applicant.
Through your Systems Approach to Training (SAT) Program, we expect you will review the results and provide appropriate remedial training for individuals independent of their overall pass status. Each applicant has authorized the release of this information to your facility by signing Block 19A of NRC Forrn 398.
Licenses cannot be issued to the remaining candidates who successfully completed the examination, including the individual who has requested an informal review of the dental of his senior reactor operator license application, until we receive documentation from Clinton Power lJ Station management, using the certification statement in Item 19.b. on the NRC Form 398, I
stating that the candidates have completed all Clinton Power Station training program requirements and reactivity manipulations. A license cannot be issued to the individual who requested an informal review until we have completed the review.
In addition, we understand that the candidates will be immediately enrolled in the Clinton Power Station continuing (requalification) licensed operator training program and that they will be current and satisfactory in that program while they are completing the requirements for a senior or reactor operator license.
