In compliance with the requirements set forth in Regulatory Guides T.16 and 10.1 and in sections 6.9.1.1 through 6.9.1.3 of the Technical Specifications, we are sending you two (2) copies of our Startup Test Report for the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 2 dc'ed September 19, 1978.
The turbine and generator trips from 100% power have not been performed.
We have held conversai. ions with members of the NRC S taff and we agree to
' submit an FSAR amendment revising the requirement '.o follow Regulatory Guide 1.68 Revision 0.In such amendment we will reference Sections 5.(1.1) and 5.(n.n) of Revision 1 of the same guide, which allow us to combine the turoine trip frca 100% power test with the 100% load re ection test.
Once v
performed, the results of the latter test will be transmitted to you.
Twenty-five (25) copies of this report are being sent to Mr. John G.
Davis, Acting Director, Office of Inspection and Enforcement.
Two (2) copies are being sent to Mr. W. G. McDcaald, Director, Office of Management and Pro-l gram Analysis. Thirty (30) copies are also being sent to Ms.M.M.Miynczak, Project Manager for the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Unit No.1 and 2, l
