Dear Mr. Russell:
As agreed upon during a conference call between R. A. Gramm, of your staff and D. R. Mcyers, PBAPS Support Manager on June 24, 1988, we are sub-mitting our Secu.'!y Contract Transition Plan and Summary of Special Monitoring Efforts to date.
Jie Transition Plan describes actions PECo and a possible new security contractor will take from the date of award to contract takeover.
These actions will ensure that we remain it. compliar.ce during the transition from the present contractor to another conttactor.
If it is necessary to modify the Transition Plan for further improvement by PECo and the successful bidder after the contract is awarded, we will inform you.
The Special Monitoring Program has identified some areas where improve-ments are required. We are taking immediate action to make improvements, as the need arises.
The Summary of Special Monitoring, Attachment 2 is considered Safeguards Information, and we thereby request that the information be protected pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21.
