20555 RE: SUPPORT OF NRC PROPOSED CLARIFICATION OF EMERGENCY PLANNING REQUIREMENTS FOR LOW POWER LICENSES

Dear Sir:

I am writing in support of the proposed rule raferenced above. When the proposed rule is past, I believe it will clear up any confusion regarding the requirements of the public notification system for low power testing.

I feel that the proposed rule would not decrease the operative capabili-ties of emergency planning and, in fact, will clarify the NRC's original intent regarding public notification requirements that must be met before low power testing.

I say "yes" proposed rule and "yes" to the opening of Seabrook Station.

Sincerely, h% O-g Shari L. Smith 30 Granite Post Green North Hampton, NH 03862
