Dear Secretary,
I am writing in support of your proposed rules change which would allow 5% testing at nuclear power plants without having full-scale evacuation plans in place.
I think that the change should be adopted as soon as possible to prevent the obstructionist tactics of Massachusetts politicians from stalling a much needed power plant.
The transmission of power is interstate commerce and is clearly under Federal jurisdiction.
I feel that a strong Federal stance needs to be taken here on the licensing of Seabrook before this area suffers serious economic damage due to power shortage.
With all of the Defense contracting that takes place here, our National Security is also threatened by this.
As a fellow A-an I implore you to make a stand and help reestablish our Cc
's Energy Plan, so that our dependance on l
foreign energy sour can be minimized before the next oil crisis.
