This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Chris Chandler of your staff and.
Mr. Mark Lesser of this office on April 2,1999, concerning an open predecisional enforcement

conference, requested by the NRC, which has been scheduled for April 22,1999, at 1:00 EDT.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the apparent violation regarding the failure of personnel to wear an alarm ratemeter, while conducting radiographic operations at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center on February 16,1999. The location of the meeting will be in room 24T20 (24 floor) in the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center,61 Forsyth St., S.W., Atlanta,'
Georgia. This meeting is an open meeting in accordance with Section V of the Enforcement Policy (Enclosure).
